Dor / Pinna
Only cotton dor: max 9 tars (threads), minimum 28 count, maanja with permitted sheesha grade, wound as pinna with QR. Charkhi and sharp/metallic/nylon dor banned.
Banned items
Charkhi, sharp maanja, metallic/chemical/glass-coated/nylon hazardous string, non-permissible dor.
Sales & flying windows
Districts notify dates. Example Lahore window reported: manufacture/trade for registered parties in a set period; public sale often a short window before flying days (e.g. early February 2026 reports).
Safety code
Follow district code of conduct — rooftop safety, age rules where notified, motorcycle safety measures, no hazardous string, purchase only from registered sellers.
